OGLE-TR56 Tranist Event of 06-22-2006 04:19 UT

The first attempt was not succesful since the counts of the parent star were much too low and did not reach an acceptable accuracy in magnitude. However, the images taken during the event will be become available for download soon. This was primarily a test to see if we could detect a transit across a faint star (vmag = 16.6). After this experience, I'm quite certain that this goal is attainable with the 14" telescope and look forward to the next attempt. -Don
