SFA STAR CHART OVERLAYS
The following overlays are intended for use with the SFA Star Charts only. They should be printed on transparency film in order to lay them over the existing SFA star charts. These enhancements include a full grid convering twelve hours of right ascension and +60 to -60 declination; and the Yale Bright Star Catalog covering both equatorial charts (2 & 3), which simply overlays more stars (down to 7th magnitude) than what currently exists on the SFA charts. All existing overlays below are in Adobe (*.PDF) format.
The overlays were created by the TAMU Charting application currently in development. The size and scale of the overlays were created to be used with the SFA Star Charts created by Dan Bruton of Stephen F. Austin State University. Also, download the SFA Chart Viewer application created by Don Carona.
